Steam may add option to hide played games from friends

Steam, the popular gaming platform, is rumored to be developing a feature that would allow users to hide their gaming activity from friends on a per-game basis. While Steam already provides several privacy settings, it does not currently permit users to conceal the status of individual games. Pavel Djundik from SteamDB has indicated evidence exists that Valve might be working on such a privacy option. If implemented, this feature would be particularly useful for players who might feel embarrassed about playing certain games, especially those with adult-themed content. There has been no official announcement from Valve regarding this potential update.
