Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse Star Still Awaits Dialogue

In the latest update regarding Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, actor Jharrel Jerome has revealed that production on the much-anticipated third film has yet to commence, as he hasn't recorded any of his lines. Jerome's comments highlight the ongoing challenges in getting the project off the ground, noting that "a lot of things are being figured out." Fans had anticipated the sequel to be released sooner, especially considering that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse debuted five years after the original. Jerome is expected to take on a more prominent role in Beyond the Spider-Verse, possibly portraying the film's main antagonist, as his character, Miles G. Morales from Earth-42, is introduced as the Prowler. This character's backstory reveals a darker alternate reality where he never became Spider-Man. The release date for the film is still uncertain, with expectations pushing into 2026 or later.

While an official release date has yet to be confirmed, it is anticipated that Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse may not arrive until 2026 at the earliest. Some sources suggest it could even be delayed until 2028.
