Sony Axing PS4 Games from PlayStation Plus in 2024

Sony has announced that starting in January 2026, PlayStation 4 games will no longer be included as key offerings in the PlayStation Plus Essentials monthly games and Games Catalog. Existing PS4 titles will remain accessible until they are cycled out of the catalog, ensuring players retain their previously acquired games. In 2026, Sony will no longer offer PlayStation 4 games prominently in the PlayStation Plus service, focusing entirely on PlayStation 5 titles as it shifts its subscription model.
