The official trailer for The Crown's sixth season has been dropped by Netflix, promising a royally devastating string of episodes. The historical drama series, which covers Queen Elizabeth II's reign, is set to depict the early relationship of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed, ending with their infamous tragic car accident. The final season of The Crown is scheduled to begin on November 16.

Actress Elizabeth Debicki returns to the series to star as Princess Diana, alongside Khalid Abdalla as Dodi Fayed. Several other well-known faces are also returning, including Imelda Staunton, Jonathan Pryce, Leslie Manville, and Dominic West. Additionally, newcomers to the series will include Rufus Kampa and Ed McVey, who will be playing Prince William in Parts 1 and 2 respectively.

The Crown, since its release in 2016, has received numerous accolades, including 21 Emmys and 4 Golden Globes. The first four episodes of season six will be available for streaming from November 16, with the remaining six episodes of the season expected to arrive on Netflix on December 14.
