Shocking What Missing from Summer Game Fest Will Surprise You

Jun 03, 2024 8:35 PM

Summer Game Fest, one of the most highly anticipated video game showcases organized by Geoff Keighley, is set to kick off with various game announcements, updates, and trailers. However, Keighley has confirmed which titles won't make an appearance. Fans can expect updates on games like "Palworld," "Kingdom Come 2: Deliverance," "Supermarket Simulator," "Monster Hunter Wilds," "Metaphor: Refantazio," "Batman: Arkham VR," and "Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO," as well as a new project from Blumhouse Games and an "Among Us" animated series trailer. Unfortunately, there will be no updates or trailers for "GTA 6," "Kingdom Hearts 4," "The Wolf Among Us 2," "Def Jam," "Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater," "Judas," "Beyond Good and Evil 2," "Five Nights at Freddy's," "Hollow Knight: Silksong," or Nintendo games. Additionally, there will be no musical acts, spicy commentary from Josef Fares, or a concluding “one more thing” announcement this year.

What major games won't be featured at this year's Summer Game Fest?

At this year's Summer Game Fest, there won't be any new updates for GTA 6, Kingdom Hearts 4, The Wolf Among Us 2, Def Jam, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Beyond Good and Evil 2, Five Nights at Freddy's, and potentially Hollow Knight: Silksong and Nintendo games.

Summer Game Fest aims to unite the gaming industry with exciting announcements and trailers. Geoff Keighley, who also hosts Gamescom Opening Night Live and The Game Awards, annually sets expectations for fans. For this year's festivity, though some anticipated titles won't appear, the event promises to reveal significant news and updates, keeping the gaming community eagerly engaged.
