Scarlet & Violet DLC: Play as Pokémon with Indigo Disk

Dec 07, 2023 5:05 PM

Pokémon fans can look forward to taking control of their favorite creatures in the upcoming DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, The Indigo Disk. Scheduled for release on December 14th, this expansion allows players to directly control Pokémon using a Synchro Machine in a new game mode known as Synchro-modus. This feature adds a fresh twist to the gameplay experience, as expressed by an early player who praised The Indigo Disk for offering solid endgame content and challenge, as well as a new environment to explore and Pokémon to catch at the Blueberry Academy.

The DLC is part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, with the first part, The Teal Mask, having been released in September. Players must finish the original game and the first DLC before diving into The Indigo Disk, which features the new Legendary Pokémon Terapagos in two forms, a Duraludon evolution called Archaludon, and two new Paradox Pokémon, Raging Bolt and Iron Crown. Notably, a significant part of the Blueberry Academy setting is submerged underwater, adding a unique environmental twist to the game.
