Say goodbye to these PlayStation Plus games in Jan '24

Dec 09, 2023 5:46 PM

PlayStation Plus subscribers should mark their calendars, as a total of 20 games are scheduled to leave the service across December and January. The games exiting the PlayStation Plus lineup include popular titles like 'Yakuza 6: The Song of Life', 'Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor', and the innovative sandbox 'Everything'. Eleven games will vanish from the roster on December 19, while January 16 will see another nine titles, including 'It Takes Two' and 'Devil May Cry 5', being pulled. These disappearances emphasize the importance of playing or downloading these games while they're still available with the subscription. For fans of these franchises and for players who enjoy extensive gaming libraries, this is a critical time to jump into these experiences before they become inaccessible through PlayStation Plus.

Which games are leaving PlayStation Plus in December and January?

Eleven games leaving in December are 'Caladrius Blaze', 'Damascus Gear: Operation Tokyo HD Edition', 'El Hijo – A Wild West Tale', 'Foreclosed', 'Friday the 13th: The Game', 'Legends of Ethernal', 'Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor', 'Middle-earth: Shadow of War', 'The Escapists 2', 'Yakuza 6: The Song of Life', and 'Yakuza: Like a Dragon'. In January, 'It Takes Two', 'Devil May Cry 5' and 'Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition', 'SnowRunner', 'JETT: The Far Shore + Given Time', 'Everything', 'Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition', 'The Missing: JJ Macfield and the Island of Memories', and 'Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae' will be leaving the service.

Oh no, seeing 'Yakuza 6' and 'It Takes Two' on the PlayStation Plus departure list really hits home for co-op and storytelling fans. Make sure to dive in or add these to your library before they bow out — it's always a bummer to miss out on quality gaming because of a subscription shuffle

Bummer to see such bangers like 'Yakuza 6' and 'It Takes Two' getting the PlayStation Plus boot. Guess it's a mad dash to the finish line for subscribers to experience these gems before they're gone from the service. 🎮💨

Looks like it's time for PlayStation Plus members to prioritize their backlogs with some serious marathoning, especially if 'Yakuza 6' or 'It Takes Two' are on the to-play list. Makes you appreciate the 'download and keep' method for the gems you don't want to lose access to.
