MultiVersus Season 2, titled "Back in Time," is set to launch on July 23 and will introduce new characters Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice. Alongside these additions, the game will feature a highly anticipated Ranked Mode, allowing players to compete in 1 vs. 1 and 2 vs. 2 matches to climb leaderboards and earn exclusive cosmetic rewards. Samurai Jack, revealed as a Bruiser class character, will be available at the start of the season, while Beetlejuice will be added before the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" hits theaters in September. Furthermore, the Water Tower map will be included, offering battles on the iconic Warner Bros. Water Tower with easter eggs from various Warner Bros. franchises.

Beetlejuice will be added to MultiVersus sometime before the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" is released in theaters on September 6 in North America and September 4 internationally.
