RALPH FIENNES CAST AS PRESIDENT SNOW IN HUNGER GAMES PREQUEL

Ralph Fiennes has officially joined the cast of Lionsgate’s upcoming film, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, portraying the iconic character of President Coriolanus Snow. This casting was announced through the official Hunger Games social media channels. The film is set before the original series starring Jennifer Lawrence and follows the backstory of Snow, originally depicted in the prequel, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Fiennes' character will be pivotal as the narrative also explores District 12 tribute, Haymitch Abernathy. The production is keen on honoring the late Donald Sutherland's portrayal of Snow, making Fiennes’s role one of the most anticipated aspects of the film, scheduled for release on November 20, 2026.
