PlayStation has revealed The Shapes Collection, a new line of collectible figures featuring popular franchises like God of War, Horizon, and Ghost of Tsushima. Announced on the PlayStation Blog, the collection debuts with an Aloy figure from Horizon Forbidden West, priced at $49.99. This deluxe collector-grade figure boasts 42 points of articulation and 12 different accessories, including multiple face plates and alternative hands. The Aloy figure is set for an August 2024 release with preorders available now.

The second wave includes figures of Kratos and Atreus from God of War Ragnarok, Varl from Horizon Forbidden West, and Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima. These figures feature between 24 and 34 points of articulation and come with two to four different accessories each. This wave opens for preorders on July 15, 2024, with shipping starting in September.

Guerrilla Games' lead character artist Arno Schmitz and Sucker Punch's creative director Jason Connell highlighted the high attention to detail, such as intricate fabric patterns and overlapping armor plates on Jin's Ghost armor. PlayStation hinted that more figures might be released in the future, potentially including characters like Ellie from The Last of Us and Nathan Drake from Uncharted.

Ghost of Tsushima, released in July 2020 by Sucker Punch Productions, is an action-adventure game set on Tsushima Island during the first Mongol invasion of Japan. The game is praised for its open-world design, visual storytelling, and intricate combat mechanics. It has received numerous accolades, including multiple Game of the Year nominations, and a Director's Cut was released in 2021 with enhanced features for the PlayStation 5.
