Planetary Annihilation Creators Draw Inspiration from Factorio for New Game

Oct 22, 2023 12:00 PM

Galactic Annihilation, the creators behind Planetary Annihilation, have announced their latest game, Industrial Annihilation, drawing inspiration from Factorio. Unlike its forerunner, Industrial Annihilation, which was a real-time strategy game, this new title is set to be a factory simulation.

Industrial Annihilation will incorporate resource gathering factories, feeding materials into warfare weaponry, along with other real-time strategy game elements. The game anticipates a release in the second quarter of 2024 on Steam.

Part of the development cost is being asked for on the crowdfunding platform "StartEngine", following the precedent set by Planetary Annihilation which was successfully funded through Kickstarter.
