OVERWATCH 2: Season 10 - All Heroes Unlocked, Mythic Skin Rules Changed

Mar 19, 2024 4:00 PM

Overwatch 2 is gearing up for a significant update with the launch of Season 10 expected in mid-April. Players can look forward to immediate access to all heroes, including the new non-binary DPS character, Venture, without the hurdle of unlocking them through the Battle Pass. Blizzard aims to make the in-game content more accessible, and part of this approach includes changes to the Mythic Shop, where players can work towards past and current seasonal Mythic skins by progressing through the Premium Battle Pass.

Mythic Skins, introduced with Overwatch 2's launch, will now be available in a newly introduced Mythic Shop. Players will be able to choose how much they want to unlock for each skin and can also work towards multiple skins simultaneously. Blizzard has also announced rank resets, progress tracking, new rewards, and a more consistent system for earning coins. Additionally, map overhauls are on the horizon with Colosseo getting a revamp in Season 11 followed by updates to Circuit Royal, Nunbani, and Havana in the later seasons.

What changes are coming to Overwatch 2 in Season 10?

Season 10 of Overwatch 2 will unlock all heroes for players, introduce a new Mythic Shop for customizable skins, feature a revised coin earning system, bring in rank resets, track progress per game, offer new rewards, and revamp multiplayer maps including Colosseo.

Overwatch 2, developed by Blizzard Entertainment, is the sequel to the original Overwatch game that took the multiplayer FPS genre by storm back in 2016. Building upon the vibrant character roster and objective-based battles, Overwatch 2 has continued to evolve with systematic overhauls, new characters, and gameplay mechanics designed to keep the experience fresh and engaging for its dedicated fan base.
