Steam hit Once Human is set to receive a significant update today, July 31, during scheduled server maintenance. This free-to-play multiplayer open-world survival game from Starry Studio has rapidly gained popularity since its PC launch on July 9, boasting a peak concurrent player count of 231,668 on Steam. The upcoming August 1 update introduces notable optimizations, including new Memetic Specialization Memory Fragments, gameplay adjustments, vehicle speed improvements, combat balances, and enhanced user interaction. Memetic Specialization Memory Fragments are new item drops introduced in the August 1 update of Once Human. Using these fragments grants players specific Memetic specialization effects. Players can use up to three fragments per season, and these items can be traded among players. Notably, all fragments will be destroyed at the season's end and will not be stored in the Eternaland Depot.
