Nioh 3 Unveiled: Not a PS Exclusive, Demo Only on PS5

Unlike previous installments, Nioh 3 will not be a timed PlayStation exclusive and will launch on both PC and PS5 in 2026. Players can currently experience an alpha demo, available only on PS5, until June 18, with plans for at least one more demo ahead of the game's release. Set in Japan’s Sengoku period, Nioh 3 features a new protagonist poised to become the next Shogun, alongside a variety of Yokai and human foes. The game introduces an “open field” concept, allowing for more dynamic gameplay areas compared to earlier Nioh titles.
Nioh 3’s combat system includes two distinct styles: Samurai and Ninja, which players can switch between seamlessly. The Samurai style retains elements from previous games but with new additions, while the Ninja style offers faster movements and unique aerial actions. The introduction of Arts Proficiency enhances the martial arts aspect, previously less emphasized in the franchise. With this new direction, fans are eager to see how Team Ninja will advance the iconic Nioh gameplay experience.
