Nintendo Offers Paid Access to Keep Playing Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

Oct 28, 2024 1:36 PM

Nintendo has announced that Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will officially shut down, but players can transition to a new paid version called Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. This new release allows players to transfer important game data such as levels, currencies, and more from the original game to the Complete version. Coming soon on December 3, 2024, the game will be available for $9.99, with the price rising to $19.99 for late adopters after January 31, 2025. The Complete version eliminates microtransactions while retaining many features, though it will lack online capabilities. Seasonal events and a QR code system for inviting friends will still be present, ensuring continued engagement.

What is Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete?

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is a paid offline version of the original Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp game, offering players the chance to continue their gaming experience without microtransactions after the original game's shutdown.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, released in November 2017, is part of the beloved Animal Crossing series, allowing players to build and manage their own campsite, interact with cute animal characters, and participate in various events. This transition comes after Nintendo's commitment to keeping the community engaged even as they phase out the online version.
