Next Partnership of Overwatch 2 is with K-Pop Band Le Sserafim
Oct 18, 2023 10:08 PMOverwatch 2, a popular online video game, is set to hold its first-ever music collaboration with K-Pop group Le Sserafim, following a trend spearheaded by Fortnite. The official announcement from Blizzard, the game's developer, outlined the debut of new in-game content inspired by the five-member girl band, whose name translates to "I'm fearless". The collaboration will kick off with the release of their upcoming single "Perfect Night," introducing a new game mode modeled after the band's music. In addition to the new game mode, Overwatch 2 will also witness the release of unique Legendary hero skins. The details will be unveiled on October 30, further enhancing the gaming experience influenced by this K-Pop group.
Boasting skilled members such as Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae, Le Sserafim shares similarities with the heroes of Overwatch, being extraordinary as individuals and powerful when united. Le Sserafim's stint with Overwatch 2 marks the game's first music group collaboration, arriving right after its first anniversary and Microsoft's acquisition of its parent company, Activision Blizzard. The unique in-game and K-Pop concert encapsulates a new chapter for Overwatch under a different ownership and commemorates the sequel's first birthday.
