Robot Entertainment has announced the latest title in the popular tower defense series, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap. This game will feature four-player co-op, roguelite progression, and enhanced third-person combat, all brought to life using Unreal Engine 5. Players can expect larger environments with physics-based and destructive traps, as well as new War Mages with unique abilities and playstyles. The game is slated for an early 2025 release on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as Xbox Series X|S. The development team emphasized their commitment to innovating based on fan feedback, ensuring each match will feel unique with randomized elements such as buffs, debuffs, weather, and time of day.
