The latest announcements from Lego unveil exciting new sets for fans of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, expanding their lineup with three fresh playsets slated for release in August. Notable among these is the "Super Sonic vs. Egg Drillster" set, inspired by classic Sonic games. This set introduces a new Super Sonic minifigure complete with a yellow ball and launcher to knock down enemies, emulating gameplay experiences. The set, based on the Emerald Hill Zone boss from Sonic the Hedgehog 2, includes 590 pieces and carries a price tag of €79.99.

Another set attracting attention is "Tails’ Adventure Boat," where Tails is featured with a launcher on a boat, while Sonic trails on a parasail. This set nods to the Green Hill Zone aesthetic, contains 393 pieces, and is listed at €54.99. The third set, "Knuckles and the Master Emerald Shrine," channels the spirit of the Angel Island’s Master Emerald Shrine from Sonic Adventure. It features Amy and Knuckles minifigures, an Egg Robo, and consists of 325 pieces, pricing at €34.99. Collectors can also look forward to unique face prints for several characters in these sets.
