New Games for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Members in May - Including Red Dead Redemption 2

PlayStation Plus members with Extra and Premium subscriptions can look forward to an exciting update to their gaming catalog this May. The service will be adding a total of ten new and returning titles, including the critically acclaimed western epic, Red Dead Redemption 2, from Rockstar Games. Players can relive the journey of Arthur Morgan in the expansive open world of the Wild West when the game becomes available on May 21st.

Other notable additions coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium include Deceive Inc., The Sims 4: City Living Expansion Pack, Crime Boss: Rockay City, and The Settlers: New Alliances among others. For the retro gaming enthusiasts, PlayStation Plus Premium players can also dive into classics like 2Xtreme, G-Police, and Worms Pinball. Meanwhile, 25 titles including Horizon: Zero Dawn will be leaving the service. Additionally, "free" titles like Ghostrunner 2 and Tunic are currently available for players to download as part of the PlayStation Plus lineup.

What new games are coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in May 2023?

The new games arriving on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on May 21st, 2023, are Red Dead Redemption 2, Deceive Inc., The Sims 4: City Living Expansion (requires the base game, which is Free2Play), Crime Boss: Rockay City, The Settlers: New Alliances, Stranded: Alien Dawn, Cat Quest, Cat Quest 2, The Lego Movie 2 Videogame, and Watch Dogs. Premium subscribers will also gain access to 2Xtreme, G-Police, and Worms Pinball.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a highly acclaimed open-world game developed and published by Rockstar Games, first released in October of 2018. It is the prequel to Red Dead Redemption and the third entry in the Red Dead series. Set in 1899, it follows the story of Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van der Linde gang, as he faces the decline of the Wild West while trying to survive against government forces, rival gangs, and other adversaries. The game is lauded for its story, characters, open-world design, and attention to detail, making it one of the most celebrated titles of its generation.
