Asus has officially unveiled its latest handheld gaming PC, the ROG Ally X, at Computex 2024. This new device boasts significant upgrades over its predecessor, featuring 1TB M.2 2280 SSD storage, 24GB of LPDDR5-7500 RAM, and an improved 80Wh battery to address previous battery life issues. The updated model also includes an additional vent to enhance cooling, ensuring better thermal performance. Unlike the original white ROG Ally, the new ROG Ally X comes in a sleek black design. It retains the same AMD Z1 Extreme CPU, RNDA 3 AMD Radeon graphics, and a 7-inch LCD display with up to 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, supported by AMD FreeSync Premium. Priced at $799.99, the ROG Ally X is available for preorder at Best Buy.
