Netflix has announced Charithra Chandran will portray the beloved character Miss Wednesday in Season 2 of the live-action adaptation of One Piece. Known for her roles in Bridgerton and Star Wars: Visions, Chandran's character plays a vital role in the Arabasta Arc, where she hunts down the Straw Hats as they enter the Grand Line. This season will also feature a variety of new characters, including Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha and Brendan Sean Murray as Brogy. Production is currently in progress, with a targeted release date in 2025. The exclusion of Jamie Lee Curtis, who had shown interest in the role of Dr. Kureha, has also been noted.
