Monster Hunter Wilds Launch Date and New Monsters Revealed

During the recent September 2024 State of Play livestream, Capcom officially announced the release date for Monster Hunter Wilds, set to launch on February 28, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The new story trailer showcased the flagship monster, Arkveld, a creature from a long-extinct species, which plays a central role in the narrative. Players will explore the Forbidden Lands alongside a research team investigating a series of attacks by the mysterious "White Wraith," aided by a boy named Nata. The game promises scenic environments like the Scarlet Forest, interactive gameplay mechanics using hookshot-like devices, and a unique pet mount system to enhance the hunting experience.

Monster Hunter Wilds will introduce various new features, including environmental destruction mechanics through the Slinger, new traversal options with a pet mount called Seikret, and engaging interactions with characters from different units within the Hunter's Guild.
