Modder Implements Malenia from Elden Ring in Sekiro Game

Nov 06, 2023 2:02 PM

An Elden Ring modder has creatively inserted the game's most challenging boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella, into FromSoftware's title Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice as per a report by PC Gamer

The mod, named Land of Reeds: Emptiness, introduces not just Malenia, but also Dark Souls' Artorias the Abysswalker and Dark Souls 3's Slave Knight Gael to the Sekiro game

Although the mod is currently experiencing some issues, it generally features Malenia quite accurately with Sekiro's unique combat style

The boss encounter introduces a posture bar along with her usual health meter, and enables players, as Sekiro, to enhance it by parrying Malenia's different attacks

Despite some problems with hitbox and deflect timing, it was commended for its high-quality integration of FromSoftware bosses into the Sekiro game

The harsh difficulty of the Malenia boss fight has previously garnered much attention, and even sparked its own sub-narratives

Malenia has been pitted against every other boss in Elden Ring in other mods, and an error even amplified her power to an extreme level

There's even a mod that transforms every enemy in the game into Malenia

On the bright side, there has been a hero, dubbed "Let me Solo Her," who emerged as an in-game saviour, managing to defeat Malenia over a thousand times

Ryan Dinsdale, an IGN freelance reporter, shared the news.
