The recently released Fortnite OG has attracted millions of players to the battle royale game, according to figures from Fortnite.gg. A peak of 5,888,686 simultaneous players was reached yesterday evening, the highest number of simultaneous players recorded by the site. This influx of new players is attributed to the new Fortnite OG season that began yesterday. Players can explore the island from the very first Fortnite Chapter. The season lasts only a month and there are only fifty tiers in the battle pass. The island will also change with each update to mimic a different season from Chapter 1.
