Michael J. Fox Reveals Search for Marty McFly's Lost Guitar

Michael J. Fox, alongside Gibson, is launching a quest to find the iconic Cherry Red ES-345 guitar he played in the film Back to the Future. In a YouTube video, Fox appealed to fans for assistance in locating the lost instrument, believed to be lost in the space-time continuum or potentially tucked away in an old garage. This initiative celebrates the film's 40th anniversary and is part of a future documentary titled Lost to the Future. Gibson has also released a "wanted" poster featuring the missing guitar and worked closely with the original cast members in this search.

Additionally, the original screenwriter Bob Gale has confirmed that there will be no new entries in the Back to the Future franchise, insisting that it remains perfect as it is and will not be continued via sequels or spin-offs.

The search was initiated as a part of the celebration for the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future and aims to recover an important piece of film history while also featuring in an upcoming documentary.
