Mew-Led Pokémon TCG Set Arrives Next Week with 60M Downloads

The Pokémon TCG Pocket has announced an exciting new set called Mythical Island, which will focus on Mew and will be released on December 17, 2024. This new themed booster pack follows the successful launch of the game, which has surpassed 60 million downloads since its debut on October 30, 2024. Fans can look forward to more than 80 new cards, including Mew ex, Aerodactyl ex, and other new and existing Pokémon. The game has been well received, generating around $200 million in its first month. Players can enjoy a free-to-play model with various rewards, although those chasing a complete collection may need to spend real money to speed things up.

The Mythical Island set features over 80 cards with five ex cards, five Trainers, and at least two Immersive Cards. Fans can look forward to new versions of existing Pokémon alongside brand new additions.
