The demo includes four levels from the game's first world, and players can choose to play in either 'classic mode' or a more forgiving 'casual mode'.

"Mario vs. Donkey Kong" on the Nintendo Switch continues the beloved puzzle-platformer series where players must navigate through various levels, outsmarting Donkey Kong to save toys and Mini-Marios.
