This title marks a fresh spinoff in the beloved Yakuza franchise, featuring the iconic character Goro Majima. The game returns to its action-brawler roots while also introducing intriguing ship-based combat reminiscent of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Players will have the opportunity to engage in naval battles, boarding enemy ships, and exploring a vibrant new hub area called Madlantis, loaded with minigames and tournaments. The game is set to launch on February 21, 2025, for multiple platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
