Jul 16, 2024 8:35 AM

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has experienced a significant setback as a playable build of the game reportedly appeared on a piracy website just two months before its official release date. The 75GB build, dated June 20, is near completion and allows players to engage in gameplay with friends. This leak presents a huge challenge for developer Saber Interactive and publisher Focus, as they're now racing to remove leaked footage from platforms and manage spoilers. Space Marine 2, which recently went gold, features a third-person action perspective where players control Lieutenant Titus of the Ultramarines to battle the Tyranids and Chaos Marines. It includes a story-focused campaign, a three-player co-op mode called Operations, and a competitive 6v6 PvP mode. The game’s official release date is set for September 9, 2024, on PlayStation, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.

What modes are available in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2?n

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 offers multiple modes including a story-focused campaign, a three-player co-op mode called Operations, and a competitive multiplayer mode that features 6v6 PvP battles between Space Marines and Chaos Marines.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is based on the popular tabletop wargame by Games Workshop, known for its detailed miniatures and complex lore. The Warhammer 40K universe is a grimdark setting featuring endless war and galactic battles. The Ultramarines are one of the most iconic chapters of Space Marines in this universe, known for their disciplined and honorable approach to warfare, making their fight against the monstrous Tyranids and the heretical Chaos Marines both a thematic and thrilling narrative choice for the game. The anticipation for Space Marine 2 is high, especially among fans of the original game and the Warhammer 40K franchise.
