Larian Studios confirmed once again that Baldur's Gate 3 will be arriving on Xbox later this year, following a social media critique from a fan who complained about being unable to play the game on Xbox. In response, Michael Douse, director of publishing, assured that the game would be available on Xbox Series X and S by the end of the year.
This firm assurance comes after a prior announcement in August by Larian, indicating the game's launch on Xbox within the year, however, no further updates were shared post that time. Baldur's Gate 3 was officially released on PC in August, followed by a release on PlayStation 5 in September. In a review, Bastiaan Vroegop gave the game a 9.5, dubbing it "the best RPG in years". He further explained that though the game has a steep learning curve, especially for non-D&D players, it offers more freedom of choice than any other similar game.
