KANE & LYNCH MOVIE COULD HAVE STARRED DAVID HARBOUR

May 20, 2025 5:15 PM

Timo Tjahjanto, the director of Nobody 2, has revealed a past concept for a Kane & Lynch movie that he wrote, which featured David Harbour in a lead role. Despite having potential stars like Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx previously attached, the film has never progressed beyond initial treatments and ideas. Multiple scripts have been attempted, including plots that would have featured Gerard Butler and Vin Diesel, but none materialized. The development of the Kane & Lynch film appears to be indefinitely stalled, especially after IO Interactive shifted its focus back to the Hitman franchise following lackluster reception to the sequel, Kane & Lynch: Dog Days.

What is Kane & Lynch about?

Kane & Lynch is a video game series developed by IO Interactive focusing on the story of two criminals, Kane, a skilled mercenary, and Lynch, a mentally unstable assassin. The narrative explores themes of betrayal, crime, and the complexities of their partnership as they navigate through dangerous heists and confrontations. The first title in the series released in 2007, receiving a mixed response but gaining a cult following.
