Hawaii's Yakuza Adventure: Is It Longer Than Gaiden
Oct 23, 2024 10:51 AMRyu Ga Gotoku Studio has revealed that the upcoming game Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will have a significantly longer playtime than its predecessor, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. According to producer Masayoshi Yokoyama, players can expect a playtime of 15 to 18 hours, making it 1.3 to 1.5 times longer than Gaiden. While Gaiden was completed in around 12 hours for the main story, everything could take upwards of 32 hours. The new spin-off, priced at $59.99, focuses on Goro Majima waking up on a beach with amnesia and embarking on a pirate adventure, featuring ship combat and a cast of new characters. The game is set for release on February 21, 2024, just ahead of its initially planned launch date due to competition with Monster Hunter Wilds.
