God of War Ragnarok Mod Turns Off Companion Puzzle Hints

The popular action-adventure game God of War: Ragnarok, released for PC, is now benefiting from a fan-made mod called "Please Shut Up." This mod addresses a common criticism players had about the game's companions providing excessive puzzle hints, which some found patronizing. While Sony introduced a feature to reduce hint frequency, many players felt it was inadequate. Therefore, the mod, created by NexusMods user Mophead01, removes over 1,500 lines of dialogue. This includes not just puzzle hints, but also various prompts that can disrupt gameplay. Currently, this mod is exclusive to PC players, as console users have yet to receive any official updates from Sony.

God of War: Ragnarok is a sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018) and continues the story of Kratos and his son Atreus as they navigate the dangers of Norse mythology.
