Ghost of Tsushima is set to expand its universe with an upcoming sequel titled Ghost of Yotei, slated for release in 2025. This announcement was revealed during the recent Sony State of Play presentation, where players were treated to stunning new footage showcasing the game’s beautiful visuals. Unlike its predecessor, the game will introduce a fresh protagonist named Atsu and venture into a new story taking place in 1603, 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima. This transition to Hokkaido marks a significant shift in the narrative style, promising to explore themes related to the Ghost beyond Jin Sakai's original journey. Developer Sucker Punch aims to retain the essence of exploration and combat while introducing new mechanics tailored for the PlayStation 5.
