Feb 26, 2024 10:55 AM

Excitement is building within the gaming community as the action-RPG Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn unveils new gameplay footage. Developed by A44 Games and published by Kepler Interactive, Flintlock is scheduled for release in the upcoming summer. Players will dive into a world overrun by the undead following the opening of the afterlife's doors and join the army fighting back as Nor Vanek. Alongside the protagonist, a computer-controlled creature named Enki will fight, utilizing guns and magic spells to defeat enemies. The new gameplay trailer showcases the strategic combat of Nor and Enki in the area known as Wanderer's Rest, as well as teases new cosmetic items that players can look forward to. The game promises a blend of both firearms and sorcery in its combat system and is anticipated to launch on various platforms, including PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, with availability on Xbox Game Pass at release.

When is Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn set to release?

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is set for release in the summer of this year, although a specific date has not been announced.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is a new IP from A44 Games, the same studio that brought us the well-received Ashen in 2018. Ashen was praised for its passive multiplayer system and unique take on the souls-like genre. With a new title on the horizon, A44 Games seems poised to deliver another immersive and challenging experience for fans of action-RPGs. The studio's focus on an original narrative involving the undead and the use of a computer-controlled companion suggests an emphasis on both story and innovative gameplay mechanics.
