Epic Games introduces a new first-person mode called Ballistic for Fortnite, launching in Early Access on December 11. This mode pits two teams of five players against each other, where attackers aim to assemble a Rift Point Device while defenders try to stop them. Players choose from five unique Flex Gadgets, including proxy mines and bubble shields, for tactical advantage. Matches will alternate teams every six rounds, with the first team to win seven rounds declared the winner. Initially, players will have access to the Skyline 10 map and a limited selection of weapons and gadgets, with more content added based on community feedback.
