Fortnite's Ballistic: New 5v5 First-Person Mode Drops Soon

Fortnite is set to introduce a new game mode called Fortnite Ballistic on December 11, 2024. This first-person, round-based 5v5 competitive mode emphasizes strategy and teamwork, dividing players into Attackers and Defenders. The primary objective is to plant or prevent the planting of a Rift Point Device. Each round will be intense, as players won't respawn, and victory is achieved by the successful detonation of the device or eliminating the opposing team. Players begin with a Ranger Pistol and can earn credits to enhance their weapons each round. Unique items known as Flex Gadgets will add depth to gameplay, allowing players to use special tools like Proximity Mines and Bubble Shields to gain an advantage.
