Dec 17, 2024 3:26 PM

FromSoftware has announced that their upcoming title, Elden Ring: Nightreign, will only support single-player or cooperative play with up to three players, explicitly excluding two-player options. In this cooperative mode, enemies will have increased HP compared to the single-player experience. The game also features a nod to the Dark Souls series, with select enemies influenced by the “Night King,” creating a more chaotic gaming environment. Additionally, Elden Ring has achieved nearly 29 million sales, and a networking test for Nightreign is scheduled for February.

What are the multiplayer options in Elden Ring: Nightreign?

Elden Ring: Nightreign offers multiplayer options for single-player mode or cooperative play with three players, but does not support two-player gameplay.

Elden Ring, released in February 2022, has captivated players with its expansive open world and deep lore. The game was developed by FromSoftware, known for its challenging titles like Dark Souls and Bloodborne, and has gained a massive following. Elden Ring: Nightreign expands on this universe, introducing new gameplay mechanics and environments that resonate with the franchise's hallmark difficulty and rich storytelling.
