FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have announced a new standalone co-op spin-off titled Elden Ring Nightreign, set to release in 2025. This new game was revealed at The Game Awards 2024 and will focus on cooperative gameplay, allowing players to team up with two partners in a condensed map inspired by Elden Ring's Limgrave area. Players will face random enemies, seek powerful weapons, and confront a major boss after three in-game days of survival. The game offers eight playable characters, each with unique skills, and supports both multiplayer and solo modes. Designed for both veterans and newcomers alike, Nightreign is directed by Junya Ishizaki, who aims to bring a fresh take on the Soulslike experience.

What can players expect from Elden Ring Nightreign?

Players can expect a co-operative RPG experience featuring randomized elements, challenging bosses, and a variety of character options, all set in a richly detailed world reminiscent of Elden Ring.

Elden Ring is a critically acclaimed action RPG released in 2022, known for its expansive open world, engaging combat, and rich lore. It was developed by FromSoftware and directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, who is renowned for his work in the Soulslike genre.
