Elden Ring: Major Update Preps Players for Shadow of the Erdtree

Elden Ring has received a substantial update ahead of the new DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree. Patch 1.12 introduces several new gameplay features including an enhanced inventory system that marks newly obtained items and adds a Recent Items tab. Additionally, Summoning Pool functionalities have been improved, such as the carryover of active Summoning Pools into New Game+ and the ability to toggle individual Summoning Pools via the Map Functions Menu. Five new hairstyles have also been added to the game. The eagerly awaited Shadow of the Erdtree DLC promises to add significant content to this beloved RPG, with IGN awarding it a perfect score for its new challenges and condensed 20-25 hour campaign. The expansion requires players to complete specific in-game feats, including defeating an optional boss, before they can access the new content.
