El Shaddai's jump to Switch is like a fresh coat of pastel paint on a cult classic canvas, and that one-button combat system is a slick reminder that complexity isn't the sole key to engaging gameplay. It's cool to see an offbeat title get another chance to mesmerize a new audience with its simplified yet deep fighting mechanics and ethereal art style.

El Shaddai's leap to the Switch feels like a natural progression for such an artistically driven title—its singular combat system and visually distinctive style could find a fresh audience eager for unique experiences on the go. Plus, the ability to 'borrow' weapons on-the-fly keeps the one-button combat fresh and engaging, proving that simplicity and depth aren't mutually exclusive in game design.
