The anticipated Early Access release of the fantasy survival game Nightingale, developed by Inflexion Games, is now set for February 20, two days ahead of its previous date. With a cost of around 30 euros, the game will be available on Steam and Epic Games Store. The game’s development saw a delay from 2022 when the developers decided to switch to Unreal Engine 5 for better performance and graphics.

Nightingale allows players to assume the role of a Realmwalker, journeying through various perilous dimensions. It supports both solo and cooperative gameplay, challenging players to survive against monstrous creatures and the magical Fae. Inflexion Games, formed by ex-Bioware employees, was acquired by Tencent and will publish Nightingale under the Level Infinite label.

What platforms will Nightingale be available on?

Nightingale will be available on PC, specifically through Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Nightingale is described as a shared-world survival crafting game, combining the elements of exploration, resource gathering, and base building within an immersive otherworldly setting. The shift to Unreal Engine 5 promises to offer a visually rich and engaging experience. With its roots linking back to Bioware, Nightingale is expected to feature a strong narrative aspect reflecting the single-player RPG expertise of the studio's founders.
