The John Wick franchise is set to receive further expansion with the development of a new anime and a separate TV show distinct from The Continental series. Chad Stahelski, the director of all four John Wick films, expressed his excitement about exploring more of the world they created, which includes diving deeper into The High Table through television. The new show will feature other standout characters from the John Wick universe, expanding the storylines without being limited to the character of John Wick himself.

Lionsgate has also shown a strong commitment to the franchise by investing in additional John Wick-related projects. An Ana de Armas-led spinoff titled Ballerina is scheduled to release on June 7, 2024. The studio and production team confirmed they are working on a fifth John Wick movie, although details and the narrative direction are still being worked out. Producer Basil Iwanyk underscored their intention to develop the story thoughtfully rather than hastily.

More content and expansions of the John Wick universe are clearly on the horizon as the franchise continues to build upon its success, promising more action-packed stories and character developments in various formats.
