Blizzard has unveiled the opening cinematic for Diablo 4's first expansion, "Vessel of Hatred," during the Xbox Showcase. This expansion, launching on October 8, introduces a new region called Nahantu and a fresh class, the Spiritborn. The cinematic features Neyrelle struggling with the Soulstone trapping Mephisto, hinting at the return of the Lord of Hatred. Additionally, the expansion will debut followers, known as Mercenaries, aiding solo players in combat and includes a new PvE activity.
