Diablo 4 Expansion Vessel of Hatred Releases End of 2024

The first expansion for Diablo 4, titled Vessel of Hatred, is set to release towards the end of 2024, as announced by Blizzard during its Blizzcon opening ceremony. The development of the expansion is reportedly still at a very early stage. The additional content will be set in the Torajan jungle, known from Diablo 2, and will carry on the story of main villain Prime Evil Mephisto. New gameplay features are to be added, including a new class, although further details are not yet released.

During the Blizzcon opening ceremony, Xbox head Phil Spencer also made an appearance, following Blizzard's recent acquisition by Microsoft, alongside Activision and King. Spencer mentioned Starcraft during his speech, which was met with a positive audience reaction. Additional details about the expansion and its specifics are yet to be revealed.
