Diablo 4 can be played for free for ten hours on Xbox this weekend

Oct 20, 2023 11:00 AM
Diablo 4 will be free to play on Xbox consoles for the entirety of this weekend, announced Microsoft. However, the playtime is capped at 10 hours. This complimentary play period is a part of the Free Play Days and is available for all Xbox owners, irrespective of their subscription to Game Pass Core or Ultimate. The free period will expire Sunday night into Monday morning. Additionally, this weekend, various other games can also be tested for free on Xbox, although for these a Game Pass Core- or Game Pass Ultimate-subscription is required. The free-to-play games include NBA 2K24 (Xbox One version), Lawn Mowing Simulator, and Hokko Life.

This week marks the commencement of the second season of Diablo 4. Players, in the Season of Blood, will team up with AI-controlled Eris, a skilled vampire hunter, voiced by Eternals actress Gemma Chan. The game will feature five endgame bosses and players can also unlock vampire powers by completing new missions.\p>

Erik Nusselder awarded a score of 9 to the game, expressing that "Diablo 4 improves a lot, makes your choices matter again and allows you to create characters that you can truly call your own. This forms an excellent foundation that Diablo fans will enjoy for years to come."
