Destiny 2: Hear Keith David’s Epic Debut as Zavala

Keith David is the new voice actor for Commander Zavala in Destiny 2, succeeding Lance Reddick.

The late Lance Reddick had portrayed Commander Zavala since the character's introduction in 2017. Reddick, beloved by fans, was also known for his roles in the John Wick series, The Wire, Lost, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Horizon Forbidden West. Keith David, acclaimed for his versatile voice acting and roles in projects like Halo and Mass Effect, was announced as Reddick's replacement in August 2023. Destiny 2's upcoming expansion, The Final Shape, launching June 4, 2024, will feature David's debut and marks a significant chapter in Destiny 2's evolving narrative.
