Bend Studio has officially confirmed that "Days Gone 2" is not happening, and fans should stop asking about it. The original "Days Gone" had its fair share of ups and downs. Recently, Bend Studio's community manager, Kevin McAllister, addressed the continuous speculation and misinformation circulating online, clarifying that the team is focused on a new IP. McAllister emphasized that any future news about their projects would come directly from the studio and urged the community to move on from hopes of a sequel.

Despite decent sales, "Days Gone" did not receive the same critical acclaim or internal support needed to justify a sequel. Bend Studio is now working on a new IP instead of continuing the franchise.
