Dave the Diver's Studio Unveils Thrilling New Zombie Survival Game 'Nakwon: Last Paradise' - Can You Outlast the Undead Apocalypse

Nov 22, 2023 2:48 PM

The upcoming zombie-survival game Nakwon: Last Paradise, developed by the creators of Dave the Diver, Mintrocket, has revealed more than 22 minutes of gameplay footage. The unique PvPvE stealth-survival game takes place in the streets of Seoul amidst a zombie apocalypse. Players will have to leave the safety zone, Nakwon, for collecting materials while avoiding zombies and other players. With an emphasis on stealth over combat due to a scarcity of guns, the game challenges players to manage survival tactics effectively.

Gathering resources allows players to earn money that can be used to improve their 'Citizen Grade', unlocking more options in the game. Ensuring a steady supply of food is also crucial for survival. A first free playtest is set for November 29 through December 3 on Steam, where players can participate and provide valuable feedback for the game's development, with a more substantial test scheduled for 2024. Mintrocket has also seen success with Dave the Diver, which sold over a million copies and is available on Nintendo Switch.

Gamers interested in the blend of stealth, survival, and zombie-apocalypse scenarios should keep an eye out for Nakwon: Last Paradise and participate in the upcoming playtest to get an early experience of this anticipated title.

Nakwon: Last Paradise is shaping up to be a fresh take on the saturated zombie-genre, infusing stealth and survival in a PvPvE setting that could really mix up the typical run-and-gun strategy. It's cool to see Mintrocket doubling down on the survival aspect by making guns scarce; looking forward to testing my sneakiness in the November playtest
