Crunchyroll Unveils 2025 Anime of the Year Nominees & Voting

Crunchyroll has officially announced the nominees for the 2025 Anime Awards, opening the voting process to fans. This year's leading title, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, boasts an impressive 25 nominations, while Dan Da Dan follows closely with 22. The Anime of the Year nominees consist of popular titles such as Dan Da Dan, Delicious in Dungeon, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Kaiju No. 8, Solo Leveling, and The Apothecary Diaries. The eligibility criteria have been updated to include any anime series aired between October 31, 2023, and December 31, 2024. Voting is available until April 14 and does not require a premium Crunchyroll membership. The 2025 Anime Awards ceremony will be held in Tokyo on May 25, 2025, and will be livestreamed on Crunchyroll.
